I remember that. Man the places we had to hold the aerial to get the picture right. Just one thing, I might be wrong about this but isn't the aerial the guy is holding for receiving ITV. BBC was a large H aerial and LOTSW was on BBC.
I can't imagine having a TV that size!
It was fun trying though Dick. That looks like the old standard "Indoor Aerial " that never seemed to do what it was sposed to !!
the picture would be ok until a car went past then it would go haywire , anyone remember the tv advert telling car owners to get a supressor fitted on there car to stop interference ?
North Notts. Not far from MansfieldNotts. You're not far from us then Dick. Which part of Notts are you from?
Mansfield, then you aren't far from me. We're almost neighbours. Before my fall we used to go to the Peak District a lot.North Notts. Not far from Mansfield
I remember that episode Captain. Many years ago in my early twenties, I used to be a TV engineer and spent quite a bit of time moving aerials and TV sets about to get a picture.Remember the Porridge episode where Fletch is about to launch the TV at Jarvis when Mackay interrupts and they all start watching it after the picture comes on when Fletch has the TV above his head, classic
