Scripts

I've checked only one line of the script for "Inventor of the Forty-foot Ferret" from this source against the actual dialogue, because there's a very memorable difference between that line as spoken and the same line in subtitles I found on either http://www.subtitles.at/last+of++the++summer++wine or http://subtitlesbank.com/subtitles/movieid-36221/.

The line is at about 10 minutes and 25 seconds. As spoken it's, "I thought you meant yourself. Guilty conscience." In both the subtitle source that I used and in this new script source, the line is rendered, "You hate yourself, guilty conscience ..."

That was one of the many lines that I had to slow way down in my subtitling software in order to understand the exact words. The published subtitles that I used appear to be someone's homemade transcripts, made without the ability to slow the playback enough to understand accurately. Based on the very small sample that I checked, I suspect that this new source is just a reformatting of one of those old sources. Good for a general guide, but not to be taken as either what Roy Clarke wrote or the lines as spoken for filming.

Considering where Terry got it from I'm just happy its vaguely right and not the script from Kojac.
