If I remember rightly, actor Richard Vernon gets special billing for this episode.

This to me is one of those less memorable episodes, and another which would have been suitable for Brian Wilde to have appeared. In fact this episode does remind me of the two Wilde episodes where Foggy offers to help the vicar.

to be honest i think this would have suited any third man cause they all helped out people like vicars all the time, i think its an ok episode, never gonna b a classic but stil a decent 1 from seymours first series, love the end credits with compo in the mouse costume and going into the delicatesan 4 the cheese always makes me laugh. 6/10

I agree, its not one of the best but the ending is funny, with a very large mouse going into the cheese shop :)

I like that particular vicars wife too. Sorry her name escapes me at the moment. but she's suited has a vicars wife.

I think that was Ann Way. Richard Vernon was, of course, a very established actor so special billing would not be surprising.

Thank you Big Unc, yes thats the one. She looks exactly has a vicars wife should :)

No I didn't mean it that way at all, if my comments were taken the wrong way then I apologise.

I think I'll stay quiet now.

Susan I took it light hearted - please do not stay quiet! Not offended at all. Should have added some of these ;D :P :-X ::) :D

Actually I was interrupted when posting and meant to add
