Series numbering

I can recall reading about this before, so apologies if it is boring...

I have just purchased the Seymour era DVDs denoted as series 9 and 10 and then 11 and 12. However my listings (which I originally compiled from the listings in the old photographic exhibition that was in Holmfirth before some of the material moved to its present site near the Wrinkled Stockings - long before internet days), show only three series as such - 9, 10 and 11.

Does this mean that all subsequent DVDs are one out on their series numbering? As I have good VHS copies from that point onwards it may well be some time before I purchase any. However I ask more out of curiosity.

Incidentally I have found that you can get quite good deals if you shop around - I paid £3.74 for one set and £8.76 for the other both inclusive of postage.

Yep! As I remember, Series 9 was "too long" for a single-series
DVD production so it was broken in half becoming Series 9 and 10.
All after that are 1 off. Indefensible in my mind, but there you go.
