I heard a possible half a story , this morning. A man had been turning up for 25 years ,rain or shine, at this car park .He had taken the money ,£1-40 for cars ,£5 for trucks and buses and in general had kept everything neat and tidy .
One particular day he hadn't turned up, the people who used the carpark called the council and asked for a relief attendant. "It's nothing to do with us, we don't even know who owns the carpark!" is what they were told.
No-one knows who the man is/was but it has been estimated that he must have received in excess of £5,000,000 over the years. It was apparently on Facebook yesterday As I say I was told a possible half a story. Anyone know the full story?? :22::me:
