Shades of Jack Harry Teasdale

Yesterday evening I watched a neighbor back his enormous caravan, which he hauls with a large, powerful, pickup truck, into a space behind his house that isn't more than two feet wider than the caravan. He needed no directing from outside the truck and he got it right on the first attempt. It's too bad that Jack Harry couldn't have taken lessons from him, except that would have destroyed a great plot.

Roy Clarke used that "back into the wrong driveway" twice. Once with Jack Teasdale and the other with Clegg backing into the wrong driveway in Wales. Which was a definite plot twist as he managed to drive over Foggy's foot.
