Sid selling beer

Can anyone remember John Comer in a TV ad for Tom Caxton home brewed beer, I`d say as far back as the seventies? I remember him saying in the ad "My pint`s served by a right comely barmaid; the wife". I`m almost certain it was him but I cannot find any information on the net that might verify this.

Thanks Don, It was obviously John Bull he advertised and not Tom Caxton. It`s not the one I`m thinking of but I`m sure there was more than one ad made at the time ;D
