Some Familiar Faces in All Gas and Gaiters

I'm working my way through a boxed set of All Gas and Gaiters....... And was pleasantly surprised to see Joe Gladwin pop up as a taxi driver and in a later episode, Dudley Jones ("Shinyglow") as a choir-master. There may be more to come. The show is pretty good, if a little tame compared to LOSW.

Remember it purely by the train game they all played , did have a few episodes on the radio part of the BBC IPlayer at one time .

I haven't seen that episode yet. My favourite character is J0hn Barron who plays the Dean of St. Ogg's. He takes "Steely-eyed" to new heights. Marvellous.

running theme through most episodes if i recall they set each other destinations and have to work out the trains and times of them to reach that destination , its a running gag

I'm only up to around episode 5 so far. Love the way Robertson Hare has trouble recalling almost every one of his lines. Apparently my boxed set has the entire lot of shows so I should reach the one you refer to soon.
