Here's an editorial comic I thought up in the past day and worked on..

Not yet, I figure it's pointless to send it to the BBC. I have put it on Facebook, though and it looks like it's making the round via friends I have on there who also like Summer Wine.

I doubt that anything will affect them: SW just did not fit their preconceptions of what entertainment should be.
