This topic is a sort of comedy connections 2 do with our favourite show, create a connection starting and finishing with summer wine.

i.e. BRIAN WILDE was in PORRIDGE alongside RONNIE BARKER who was in OPEN ALL HOURS with DAVID JASON who was in ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES with NICOLAS LYNDHURST who was in AFTER YOU'VE GONE with CELIA IMRIE who is in KINGDOM where PETER SALLIS guest starred and he worked with ROY CLARKE before SUMMER WINE which starred BRIAN WILDE

that sort of thing.
 
Michael Bates who played Cyril Blamire did a voice over in the 1981 animated film Gullivers Travels ,which starred Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets alongside Miriam Margolyes, who played Prof Sprout and also appeared in Blackadder,a series that Jane Freeman made an appearance as Mrs Applebottom.She also played Ivy in LOTSW alongside Michael Bates who played Cyril Blamire :)
