Looking on the Members Map I see quite a few of our American cousins have long straight roads in their locality. Summer Wine country has plenty of short, winding, hilly roads. I recall talking to some of a Welsh valley coach party outside Sid's Cafe. Even they thought it was hilly.

The only place I’ve been to in Lincolnshire is Butlins in Skegness, is the rest any better?
The only main benefit of living here, is it is so flat you get better MPG

It's rather large and sparsely populated so being able to drive a fair distance is a plus point, unless you live near to one of the main towns. I'm not up on the public transport situation with not needing to use it myself.
On the subject of Lincolnshire roads, apparently there is a road called A1111 and John Shuttleworth was so impressed he wrote a song about it!
