Surnames YET AGAIN

We are often talking about the surnames of characters in LOTSW.

Certain characters like Sid and Ivy didn't appear to be given one.

And some characters used their surname just ONCE.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these include
Barry Wilkinson (Uncle of the Bride)
Howard Sibshaw (an episode from the final series, as well as one of the novels)
Smiler or Clem Hemingway (That Certain Smile)

I don't think Roz's surname was ever mentioned. I don't think she ever married, so this would have been Uttathwaite. Had this been mentioned, it would have provided a little bit of nostalgia for Seymour fans. Thought they would have mentioned just to remind us.

It was Utterthwaite.

Yeah, but they never actually mentioned it in the show, did they? I just thought it would have been a nice touch.

Somewhere there has been a discussion about Sid and Ivy's surname based on the name above the door of the cafe - small script. Can not recall where this was, but somewhere in the archives of this forum we may find it.
