Not sure if it just my eyesight but when Lenny first meets the trio, he is standing in the water with the swan, when he starts towards the bank to climb out of the water he appears to be wearing green leggings, seconds later he has bare legs

Could be algae sticking to his legs which simply drops off as he dries out or perhaps its just bad continuity when Alan Bell and the crew where viewing and editing the river scene Rushes

Perhaps he had to rush back from Pantomime rehearsals that year when Cannon and Ball were in Robin Hood and he was in such a rush he didn't have time to take off his green leggings .
