Watched this last night and it's amazing how many times they said the name Mrs Jack Attercliffe, it must have been at least a dozen. Was Roy Clarke having a bad writing day or is there some kind of in-joke about the repetition?
 
I get the impression that on more than one occasion Roy Clarke found a word or short phrase that 'sounded good' when spoken. Playing with words, if you like. There are many episodes where words or phrases seem to be repeated and are memorable simply because of the way they sound.

p.s. I could be soooo wrong :3x:
