With Christmas approaching. What is your main course choice for Christmas Dinner. Turkey. Chicken. Beef. Nut Roast. A nice bit of Gammon. All makes me hungry talking about it. Some people might have pork or even Lamb . Mixed with the essence of the whole thing. Roast potatoes. Plus the veg and the Sausages wrapped In bacon. What is your Christmas Dinner like. Maybe you don't like Christmas. I used to work with someone who didn't have a Roast all year until Christmas Day

My Christmas Meal is a traditional English favourite, Indian Curry! rather than the faff of cooking usually go to an Indian Restaurant on Christmas day as it's normally pretty good value !
My Grandson would take a Curry anytime over a traditional Christmas roast, I still prefer Turkey and all the trimmings

In the US, roast turkey with all the trimmings is traditional for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. The holidays are only about a month apart, and I'm not all that fond of turkey. I'll take just a politely small slice of the thigh meat and lots of stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. My usual contribution to the dinner is a casserole of roasted root vegetables with honey sauce.
