When a Nurse, Nora not only oozed danger for people like Barry and his blocked ears but presumably would be in acute danger herself with the threat of being sued for medical negligence.
Taken in occasionally by Compos ruses, which invariably were just a way of getting into her house!

Actually, this was one of the times when there was more danger than was planned. The brakes on the "bed" failed and it took more time and effort to get the "bed" stopped. I'm sure Kathy Staff's heart went pitty-pat for a few moments.
Emerging...scantily clad [well,for Nora it was !!!!] from the bathroom in the guest house in Scarborough...only to be met by Compo,in his "property of Huddersfield Baths] robe !!!......
There was more flesh on show than when she was dressed as a flapper girl.......which actually was tooooooooo much for Compo's heart to take......thank God her room was next door to the bathroom.....and she has Wally in the there for protection.
