Does anyone know if any of the sets survived and were used in other shows . ?
The sets from BBC sitcoms filmed at television centre would of surely been ?That’s a good question are sets reused in other programmes ?
So you may see a Dalek pass through Barry & Glenda's living room one day then !The sets from BBC sitcoms filmed at television centre would of surely been ?
They once used the set from the 1984 series of The Paul Daniels Magic Show for a series of Les Dennis and Dustin Gee's Laughter Show. That’s a good question are sets reused in other programmes ?
I wonder if it differed for different series because Doctor Who used certain bits of the sets for ages before they replaced themI think at the end of each series. the sets were destroyed.
This was to save money on storage, and create new employment the following year to rebuild them from scratch.
Don't know if any keen fans ever rescued any sets...
So that's why the Café looked slightly different season to season. It gradually went from seedy to a more modern décor.I think at the end of each series. the sets were destroyed.
