The Way to the stars

I just bought the film "The Way To The Stars" on DVD, only because I knew Bill Owen appeared in it as Nobby Clarke, his performance as you would expect was faultless but the film as a whole is wonderful, acting terrific all round and a very nice storyline, I'd recommend anyone who hasn't seen it, to get it, perfect.

They don't make em like that anymore. :-\

Only ever seen it on a lazy sunday afternoon , but what I remember of it is a good all round entertaining film. As you said, they don't make em like that anymore

Sunday afternoon wouldn't be the same without an old black and white classic film.
No matter how big todays 'stars' think they are,you still can't top John Wayne,Jimmy Cagney,Kenneth More etc,etc
