This might keep you guessing

Guessing? Mmm. Sid owned the cafe. There was a Sid at the Co-op in 'First of The Summer Wine' and somebody had a cat called Sid. Somehow I think I'm wrong but it is a guess.

Nice try but not the connection I am looking for

Annoyed at myself for not knowing one involving a cat, but all I can think of is the dog I don't have ... a Scooby Doo.

Could it be Ivy?. She runs the Cafe. I think she worked at the Co-op in First of The Summer Wine though I can't think of the connection with a cat.

The only one I could think of was Glenda who once appeared in the cafe dressed as Dick Whittington's cat but I can't think of any connection between her and the Co-op and White Horse though.

Time to give you a better clue I think, in the cafe she told someone to drink his coffee

Margaret Stallard? Her character and her husband were in the cafe in 'Who's Looking After The Cafe Then' and also in the White Horse in 'Set The People Free' Not sure about the co-op and the cat.

Well done Roger, the link with the co-op is she also played the wife of Mr Scrimshaw in FOSW, seen twice once in the episode Snuff and Stuff, with the cat at the end

Wow - well spotted. I had forgotten about FOTSW - although I wouldn't have got the answer anyway, but remember "Snuff and Stuff" now as being one of the funniest episodes, in my opinion.

That was a clever one there, Terry. Now that you have said it the pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place. I can picture the cat licking at Mr. Scrimshaw's nose. Funny episode, that one.
