We had the complete set of these, which I think totaled six, but when we moved to Lincolnshire due to space we had to let them go, they were well made and looked very good, you never know you my have mine, well done Pete

Just watched today's first episode on Gold the First Human Being to Ride a Bike which features Compo in the Cafe drinking his tea out of a saucer and it made me think . It is some time since I was in Holmfirth and the Cafe do the ladies offer cups of tea with a cup and saucer and if they do or even if you can request one has any of the members who have visited Sid's paid tribute to Compo by drinking some of their tea from a saucer .

Not an answer to your question but I was in the cafe once and a group of people sitting at the next table were talking about Howard and his girlfriend Marianne! My brain skipped a beat and had to put them right.
