Tony Melody Voicing Sid??

Just saw an old obit for Tony Melody so started
looking about. Somewhere I saw a note that he
provided the voice of Sid in Getting Sam Home.

Had Sid died??

Wot's the deal?????

John Comer was suffering from throat cancer and Tony was brought in to dub his voice (brilliantly in my opinion)

I have watched this episode many times and I have to say that you would never know that Sid's voice had been spoken by anyone but John Comer himself. You have to really commend Tony Melody on his superb voice acting.
