My journey to "the most wonderful place on earth" makes Pott's trip to the Pole with his dog sled team of mongrels and strays look like a stroll in the park !!.
I don't drive....SO.....my journey starts with a train from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Piccadilly....THEN.....from Manchester to Leeds......THEN...from Leeds to Huddersfield......AND FINALLY.....a bus from Huddersfield to "our favourite place" !!!.....
When I arrive I feel like a child in Disneyland !!! [sad but true !!].
Every time I am there I am as excited as the last time......we all know....our love for "our show" is in the blood.
Once normality arrives [please soon !!!] I will be boarding my train in Liverpool looking forward to a magical day !!....I CAN'T WAIT !!!.

There is a frequent train from Manchester Piccadilly to Huddersfield. Faster than going through Leeds.

It just proves what my state of mind is in when I reach Manchester...instead of looking at train timetables,and destinations I am thinking about Sid's Cafe,Nora's and Compo's House,and the magical trip on the lovely old bus with the wonderful driver !!.
I bow to your superior knowledge Barbara...and feel rather ashamed that I live in Liverpool and it has taken a lady from Philadelphia to put me on the straight and narrow !!!!.....once again,many,many thanks.......your kindnessmeans a lot to me.
