Really do miss Waldo, Tom's "dog."

Watched The Hawk last night, in which Tom drops Waldo
in Clegg's lap and walks off. Waldo up and barks at Clegg while
Billy smirks. Great stuff.

I once asked Tom, what had happened to Waldo. He said that Alan Bell thought he had had his day. Like every dog I suppose!

i actually own the puppet, its in my room at home, so it wasnt binned when they stopped using it

not quite george although joking aside i have thought more than once to offer him to be displayed in the exhibition in holmfirth so other fans get the joy from seeing him

I thought there was a bit more mileage in Waldo. Not in every episode, but a few appearances every series.

One has to feel sorry for the way Tom Owen and his character were stripped of any endearing qualities - his dog, his father's home, his girlfriend, his schemes, his banter...
