Here's a tea-break teaser for you. Well, actually - I think this will need more time than a 5-minute brew!

What is the link between camp comic Julian Clary and the sitcom characters George and Mildred?

I was aware of this there was a sitcom written by him and others called Terry and Julian a tribute to Terry and June . In one episode June Whitfield and another actor from Terry and June can't recall his name appear and they are called George and Mildred in tribute to the show.

That awful sitcom Terry and Julian. There was an episode involving some stolen gold bars and George and Mildred were the bank manager and his wife.

It was Reginald Marsh that played George. He also played Terry's boss in Terry and June, and George's Brother-in-law in George and Mildred.

Yes... June Whitfield and Reginald Marsh both appeared in the BBC sitcom Terry and June, and their characters were called George and Mildred, which Marsh also appeared in.
I'll have to find something more obscure!
