Now you've solved that number question, you won't mind me hijacking this post to ask if anyone knows what this poster is on the end of the terrace used for Foggy's home in First of the Summer Wine. Just the number '460' is readable. The same poster appears in another scene, but its not any clearer. Hopefully some of the older contingent might know, as the episode is set in 1939. I have identified the other posters!

The Government had already issued information about air raids, gasmasks and using gardens to grow your own veg, so it's very likely something 'official'.
