I think like a lot of stars in that era Bill was a very natty dresser in public unlike some so called stars of today who have no sense of style and elegance .

There's a geezer in that photo, to the right of Bill Owen and up top, that looks like Stan Ogden from Coronation Street.

I thought the lady to Bill's left behind the two blond haired boys who has a scarf on has the look of the Queen Mum though by saying that could I be orf to the Tower.
