Does anybody like tennis? I am a fan so looking forward to the next 2 weeks. I hope Andy Murray does well

Me to Dick. Although I am originally from the Midlands I have always followed Yorkshire from a small boy. I prefer the 4 & 5 day game to the slogging of 20 20.

Tennis is now so mechanical, no real characters and all the screeching and grunting just puts me off watching it totally , like my cricket , football and racing .

We have had an additional pre-Wimbledon Annual Event the Hoppings Funfair which when the first ride pulls on the Town Moor it signals the commencement of the rain that finished Saturday , Sunday was warm and dry and then Wimbledon started Monday Splosh!
