I have often thought this - Chip and Connie could have visited at anytime. In those days I don't think they surveyed audiences like they do now to gauge reactions and if a character is worth keeping in a show - so there wasn't anything...

Whilst watching Pate and Chips this morning. I thought how Roy missed a chance to bring Chips kids into the show as they got older. A new generation of Simmonites . Just a thought

Imagine a lot of the classic "Fred Quimby" episodes are no longer shown because of the violence , may have been edited to remove certain scenes or whole episodes banned , those featuring the Housekeeper will almost certainly never be... -
