There's a YouTube video of when Summer Wine was inducted into the comedy hall of fame and Peter Sallis compares it to the weather forecast which I thought was quite churlish. Granted that SW is what's described as a gentle comedy, but...

Thanks. Coddy's Farm looks nice but the Old Bridge would probably suit us better having it's own restaurant.

If you want a full blown Hotel, then the Bridge in the centre of town is ideal, other than that the Huntsman which is under 3 miles out of the centre with better parking, then you can either drive into town or a Uber/ Taxi

Yes I think Mike Grady has pretty much washed his hands of it all together which is a shame, Peter said he earned more money doing Wallace than he ever did doing Summer Wine and if you read Kathy Staffs autobiography she barely mentions...

There was something that some of the Last of the Summer Wine actors found addictive about working on the show. We've recently discussed how Michael Aldridge loved the show, and really didn't want to leave. Bill Owen is the most obvious...

Thanks Pearl, there's some really interesting information there I didn't know! I do know that Peter Sallis did the first ever Wallace & Grommit as a favour for a young student for about £50 fee. I'm sure no one had any idea at that...
