Yesterday evening (his time) I emailed him a heads-up about the cartoon 'Pow' image, and now it's gone. That must have been the work of a hijacker.

The 'Pow' image must have been deliberate, then. So maybe it's absence is a sign of progress.

I never saw the TV show, just documentaries about it, but the sign seemed familiar so you're probably right.
