Bit more traffic and people now but you'd recognise the buildings for sure.

In those days they had young retired chimney sweep lads to push the cars up hills

I noted whilst staying at Noras how any large vehicles driving along here would cause a considerable albeit brief amount of vibration and noise in the living room as if the house was shaking!
Pavement is so narrow that they come quite close to the building when driving past.
As Nora spent so much time down in the kitchen, washing, baking and answering the front door to a certain scruffy little herbert, it probably wasn't much of an issue!
