Phil Lynott was actually sacked by the lead singer of Skid Row, Brush Shiels in the late sixties. They remained on good terms and by Lynott's admission Shiels taught him to play the base guitar. Phil went on to form the band Orphanage...

Just bite the bullet and have it done! Seriously, there's nothing to it, aside from the eyedrops routine post-op, and that's not forever. I had both eyes done about a year ago, and got new glasses with the first pair of thin lenses...

My Great Uncle had them in the 1980s & had to give up driving because of them, I think his doctor restricted him to daylight driving but he decided to hand his licence in because he thought his eyesight would keep getting worse.

Below are a couple of pictures of the main shopping street [Northumberland street] in Newcastle City Centre . It seems that Commander Willoughby has been up to his old tricks and has sold a copy of his map and persuaded someone very...

Good call there Theatrical. Maybe that is Truly's jacket on the peg covering up Clegg's jacket. We can only see Clegg's hat. Truly is in the next room brewing up and "helping" the Police with the investigation. He did not cover up...

<exasperated sigh> That's a trench coat with the cap. Truly wore a trench coat! Clegg has a grey-ish or black plastic mac ... and every Yorkshireman wears a cloth cap! Lazy, stupid reporters.

To be fair if the coat was too dark (in this situation) it might have blended into the shadows and been less noticeable. The coat and cap are a nice nod to Clegg / Sallis. In LotSW his jacket seemed darker in color and light weight...

https://screenrant.com/wallace-and-gromit-vengeance-most-fowl-movie-easter-eggs/ Judging by the picture. I seem to always remember a darker (thinner) outercoat. Definitely don't remember a yellow raincoat. The flatcap is spot on.
