We have two cats and as any cat person will know they like to have a special place to sleep. Ours have a favourite for a while then change. Nova, black and white "tuxedo" moggy, is currently asleep on an old duvet on top of my wardrobe...

Is it me or do you think that this does not look like Mrs Partridge/Rosemary Martin in this scene from the pilot. If you watch the video it looks even less like her. I had never noticed this before.

It's also possible that some of these books were written with a lot of help from someone who steered them a certain way to aim them at a particular audience. Really hard to know.
