My ad blocker only works on Firefox not on Chrome anymore too. I also use the Brave browser which is pretty good as it has a YT ad blocker built in which works a treat when watching on my iPad. I hasten to add, the only exception is...
I don't think YouTube gives a proverbial monkey's tbh. Provided they get enough viewers to view their ads they're happy and seem unconcerned.
The AI videos on there now drive me mad, people trying to cash in whilst putting in zero...
I report a lot of those on YouTube - however, as you can't add a comment to sat why the video is a scam (etc) they do nothing cos it "looks" legitimate... There is one video thumbnail for a "how they died - then and now" type video...

Not sure if it's the same where you live but I can view most magazines free via Pressreader using my local library membership. Bearing in mind What Car? is about £8 it's not bad for free! That said I much prefer physical magazines...
