Phil Lynott was actually sacked by the lead singer of Skid Row, Brush Shiels in the late sixties. They remained on good terms and by Lynott's admission Shiels taught him to play the base guitar. Phil went on to form the band Orphanage with Brian Downey which evolved into Thin Lizzy.View attachment 8125

I'm not putting up a single video this time, but including a YT link for the group.
Yesterday evening I spent with Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Bill Bruford.
I had their song "And you and I" spinning around in my head for most of yesterday, couldn't shake it so had to indulge myself to three hours of progressive perfection.
