I agree I am often surprised to see conkers unclaimed. When I was a kid, they seemed to be a rare and valued find.

I remember throwing sticks into trees to get a good sized conker down after all the fallen had been claimed.

I have been wondering about the layout of Compo's house. His front door seems to be on the left in red. Alvin used to sit outside the door on the right, so is the yellow window the room where Compo used to lean out of? Am I just overthinking it?

I recently went on drive around Sumnerwinland (sadly the bus tour wasn't available). I visited the main characters' houses and of course Sid's Cafe. I am intending on visiting again.... any suggestions of other iconic places worth a visit?
