Compo's house

I have been wondering about the layout of Compo's house. His front door seems to be on the left in red. Alvin used to sit outside the door on the right, so is the yellow window the room where Compo used to lean out of? Am I just overthinking it?

You almost never see Nora and Compo in the same shot when she is talking to him at his bedroom window.



Kathy Staff is looking in the general direction direction of the Café upstairs window, but Bill Owen is really looking out of the window on the far right of the image - above the Sole Trader shop.



Notice the broken corner of the stonework below the window and the circular vent. The metal window-basket support has been removed, but you can see the light patch in the brick where it used to be. So, Compo's bedroom window does not exist in reality!

Thanks for your input, love ghe video. I found the anniversary documentaries so will have to watch them.

Another theory could be that Compo has secretly got some money stashed away (given how he kept his Thursday friend a secret from his closet friends for years shows he can keep secrets) and he bought the neighbouring house and knocked through!?
