I report a lot of those on YouTube - however, as you can't add a comment to sat why the video is a scam (etc) they do nothing cos it "looks" legitimate... There is one video thumbnail for a "how they died - then and now" type video showing well known actor on side and a person in a hospital bed...

    Wall fixture/faucet thing?

I think "older person" is the preferred term! ;)

    Cats will be cats ...

I think as we all spend so much time on the computer, that's their way of getting attention. I know Peter's cat will sleep on the keyboard.

I'm staggered at the apparent popularity of last weeks video: The UK’s Forgotten Sitcoms (1977 to 1986). It had just under 9,000 views in 7 days. For context, some of my Summer Wine Decanted videos from about 2 years ago still only have 4,000-5,000 views! My typical count for 7 days is 1,500 to...

    Cats will be cats ...

We have two cats and as any cat person will know they like to have a special place to sleep. Ours have a favourite for a while then change. Nova, black and white "tuxedo" moggy, is currently asleep on an old duvet on top of my wardrobe. Ruby, multi-coloured "calico" moggy, usually sleeps on my...

    Mrs. Partridge

I suspect that as she didn't have to speak it wasn't worth having her on location, it's probably one of the crew.

    Irreplaceable?

Compo had a varied background. It was entirely plausible that his offspring would move away while still exhibiting his characteristics, generally bone idle. It would just have made more sense for Tom et al to arrive for one series, exactly as happened, but then drift off without necessarily...

Stanhope Arms - setting for How Not to Cry At Weddings

I stopped video editing to watch the first episode properly; on the sofa with a cuppa. I think that episode gets better with every viewing.

Thanks @captain clutterbuck ... It might have been to avoid typecasting, but I suppose he didn't have any input on the script - and Vince Powell does seem to have written some less than successful shows. Trouble is, now you know about the other shows, they might become a video earworm!

At the moment K&K is a bit too recent to be forgotten, despite me forgetting about it!

Thanks @Barrychuckle - the first "Forgotten Sitcoms" video had only about 50 views on the Sunday it was published, my videos usually get about 200. However the total for 7 days is about 4,200 when usual for 7 days is 1,500 - 2,100 views!! I was worried on the Sunday but by Tuesday it was rocketing!

... is also in the same video! I'd have preferred if Julian Orchard had never found Inman at his fish and chip shop, there was a sitcom set-up there and they didn't use it!

Yes! So, not forgotten in your book, but "hated" (with a small "H"). I had difficulty getting past the song-and-dance title sequence.

The research is time consuming - especially considering the difficulty of finding some information and then agonising over what to use and what to cut out. David Battley was one of those actors that regularly cropped up on tv, in secondary roles - usually one-off appearances - that you...
