Interesting video about checking on / updating the communication system within the tunnels. A trip through the old railway line and the canal path parts.
I think Terry used to work with a telecom company. @maltrab , would you have jumped at the chance to have helped with this setup? You're a braver man than I if you would've.
Goodness, cheers to the toughness of the guys digging those tunnels a few hundred years ago with oil lamps, pickaxes, hammer and chisel! They had steam power back them, not sure if a steam powered drill would have done it or by hand.
