Definitely getting better with these!!! I can't even place the episode at the moment! Looking at Compo's shirt sleeves, is it the one where he gets Nora to sew on a button through her letterbox at the start?

BTW did you notice the big sign to the lower left. On the DVD you can see it says "Grandma Batty's Yorkshire Puddings"! Any relation do you think, although no-one comments on it in the scene...not even Nora!

I didn't recognize the scene at first as it has been a while since I saw the episode... however by chance it was only a couple of episodes ahead of where I was during my complete series re-watch.
I have now caught up and it is now the NEXT episode for me to watch then followed by the "Trilogy".
As the missus is doing the washing at the moment, I might wait until tomorrow before I start. That way I will have a larger supply of dry hankies on hand!

They sacked the signwriter from the show after this, the apostrophe "s" is in the wrong place it was actually Grandma's Batty Yorkshire Puddings and they were actually Suet Dumplings [that is why they are batty] , which confused the hell out of diners who ordered Sunday Lunch

Captain, the apostrophe problem may be mine. I must admit I didn't take great care in transcribing so MY placing of the darn thing may be incorrect.
To prevent Happyjack from having a coronary can I say that the missing item "might" be a certain lamp-post behind Ivy?

It was not your fault, you were correct!! I simply used it as an opportunity to try and inject some humour to the thread , as is my won't, appears my humour may not always travel well
(shouldn't that be "as is my wont" ?)

I will take your word for it that I was correct in the placement of the aforesaid apostrophe because I have No blinking idea of where it actually is (I only skimmed through it today to find the scene required) and I wont re-watch that episode until tomorrow, by which time
I will have forgotten all about it!
