Tony Hancock was a top English Comedian and comedic actor whose show Hancock's half hour was one of the formative shows on British TV , it also appeared on radio and was a must listen event when it was broadcast. His sidekick for many of the shows was the great Sid James who you may know from the Carry on films , Kenneth Williams from those great films appeared alongside Hancock in his shows . His fictional address is announced is some episodes of the show , its a while since I watched any of the TV shows cannot recall if his "house" has the number on and the street sign is shown .
