Another one with a twist - In Defeat of the Stoneworm," Pearl asks Howard "What the dickens have you got there?". He replies "It's a milking machine, love." She responds with "Ask a silly question."

Another one with Pearl and Howard. In Welcome to Earth Pearl discovers oil on Howard's collar and asks him how it got there. He answers that he had to undo Cleggy from his bicycle. Pearl responds "Ask a stupid question..."

When driving in Glasgow and unsure of directions, never stop at a bus stop to ask how to get where you want to go. All you will get is detailed information on how to get to your desired destination by bus.

I found one where Ivy asked the question in Captain Clutterbuck's Treasure.

Captain Clutterbuck comes in to the cafe with the trio and orders Earl Grey tea and scrambled egg on toast.

Ivy asks the trio "Where did you find him?"
Clegg responds, "Ah! It was fate." Then Compo says, "Somebody threw him at us as we passed."
Ivy responds with, "Ask a silly question!"

It wasn't me Guv I wouldn't drink Earl Grey Tea I just buried the treasure years ago Commander Willoughby is the chap your looking for!

I do apologize Captain. I like your name so well I just got carried away with it. Indeed it was Lieutenant Commander Willoughby, Royal Navy, retired who ordered the tea and sold the map.

In How To Clear Your Pipes, Wesley asks Foggy how they (Compo & Clegg) got in there (the pipes).
Foggy answers they were doing an assault course.
To which Wesley responds, "Ask a silly question!"
