Sorry about that, it's the Christmas Sherry kicking in.It's Glenda not Brenda.![]()
How very true, eventually i'll get it right or wrong.I think correcting Cloggy is a bit harsh and frankly slightly unfair , he's trying his best ! Ventriloquism is a difficult art to Master ! I have to say Cloggy seems to defy what normally occurs with those learning the art . Everyone expects trainees to utter phrases like "Bottle of Beer" as " Gottle of Geer" quite how Cloggy managed to reverse that trend and pronounce Glenda as Brenda is rare and frankly astonishing !![]()

I remember that too,Must have been great to see her act in person on stage, Cloggy.
Captain you solved a riddle for me with the "Gottle of Geer", thanks. I remember Compo saying that in the cafe before they all went on a trip to the seaside. Compo was acting as a ventriloquist dummy while Clegg was tugging on a string. I had wondered about what Compo had said.
Glenda or Brenda played Miss Marple very well, it was in the same theatre that we saw Pearl (Juliette Kaplan) in a stage play,Must have been great to see her act in person on stage, Cloggy.
