Last year in Scotland we bought some daffy bulbs and they've just come out now but I've never seen this variety before does anyone know please?

This is the nearest I can find Pearl, its called 'Narsissus Thalia'. Looks similar to yours, with a frilled trumpet and long loose petals.

Thank you both, looks very similar, mine are all double headers so that's what's throwing me. I only bought 5 bulbs because thats all they had left but I'm going to look for more they're gorgeous :D

My level of gardening skills are demonstrated by the fact that I managed to kill off rhubarb that was cultivated and no doubt enjoyed by the previous owner of my house ,something I understand is really difficult to achieve. In terms of helping you much as I would wish to be able to I am afraid ,as Compo or Truly would have said , I'm a bit of a Tulip in the context of all things horticultural.

You killed off rhubarb? I tried doing that for years but only managed to make it spread! I'm impressed! :respect::respect:
 
I THINK John is correct. When you go back to Scotland save the packaging. There is where your Latin name will be. I love flowers but no good at names. Do better for nicknames of specific flowers.
