TV and film the brilliant Geoffrey 'Catweazle/Worzels Croman' Bayldon was also in both! Alas the equally versitile George Cole never was tho.
Chocolate teapot copper Tony Capstick was also in a couple of episodes of Heartbeat...
Clare Kelly, who Roger spotted was in all of Roy Clarkes 'main 3' played the timid Mrs Teasdale and I also recall her in one of the early episodes of Heartbeat.

John Challis the gentleman jewel thief in Is Jeremy Quite Safe played a character with a dodgy northern accent in an episode in the 8th series of HB!
