Coughs - and remedies

LOOOOOOOOOOOOL, we have come from a cough to an orchestra!

Just a little ramble through language ... I need a little notebook to 'catch the passing thought' - now who said that!

You may note from my avatar that I occasionally have graced the keyboard of an organ ... not often these days as I may be elsewhere ....

All apropos of nothing again, are there otheres like me who find the avatars so small that it can be real difficult to really apprecaite the person portrayed.

Sorry to come back to the topic in between the cleggish rambling ;D, but I was trying to find out about paracetamol against cough, I have never heard of that before. I have found that there seems to be a medicine which consists of both paracetamol and codein, so that would make sense, but barmpot, do you mean just plain paracetamol with nothing else in it actually stops the urge to cough? If it does, that might be a good advice the next time anyone gets one, since I think codein linctus may be banned over here now as well.
