COVID Vaccine.

Well, we both had the Pfizer vaccine. Today Mum is doing much better. She did get up at about 4.45pm yesterday and also managed to eat her chips! She also walked round to our local pub, where we had a polling station for the UK elections and voted too. (About 5 minutes walk from our house). She managed to get up as normal this morning and has been eating her meals as normal too. She seems to be OK now but we'll keep an eye on her for a while just to be sure.

As for myself, I am still OK and, although I am feeling a little more tired than normal today, I am carrying on as normal with no real troubles to speak of so far.

Get a nice cuppa and put on a few episodes (Foggy episodes naturally :D) and take it easy!

Mum has been feeling a lot better yesterday and today, and she's actually been out to visit a friend at a nursing home. She went with the same friend who took her to the vaccine jabs. As the nursing home have relaxed the rules about visits, two people can visit together now. Of course, before she went in, she had to have a covid test, and that came back negative, so I am confident she is OK now.
 
I was wondering what members views are about the touching of elbows. While this may prevent the touching of hands it is very easy to see that it does break the Social Distancing law.

Funnily enough I bought a new car on Friday, and upon agreeing it the salesman fist bumped me where a handshake would have been customary. It seemed a little odd and I did comment that are handshakes a thing of the past!

Wow, as you're in your mid twenties they're clearly well ahead of the vaccination roll out plan!

Hopefully you don't get any side effects, let us know how you get along :D

Cheers I help look after my auntie who is 77 and has fybromyalgia osteoarthritis, low blood count and high blood pressure and also double vision so that's why I got in now although Blackburn I should add are starting with 18 plus now so hopefully everyone will be done soon
 
Relax Thomas. Build up your energy for the big bun fight when Sids re opens. We've booked a trip for later in the year.

My wife has all those complaints Thomas except double vision. She does have one other problem though, she has to look after me. All I can do is sit here all day hoping that someone will post something to give me inspiration to hopefully give me something to say to make you smile.
Has anybody seen Phyllis this afternoon? My back needs scratching.:13:
