A semi-recent topic. I checked and understand Crabbies started making Ginger Beer about a year ago - an addition to their Ginger Wine range.

Tried some at a party last weekend. General concensus is that it is far too sweet.
 
agreed foggy, tried a bottle on a hot day (one of the few) last summer, thought it would be refreshing, wasfar too sweet, unpleasant.
