Just opted for Finance and Property Rod because needed to ensure we could cover the cost of the home for Mam which as anyone who has had experience are very expensive . The home we selected was given an excellent reference by Care Quality Commission , there was a waiting list and so we were lucky to get a place so expediently but a major factor is it's about a mile and a half from her house so Mam didn't feel she was effectively banished far away from home and she is familiar with the surrounding area. Whilst she is getting the care and attention she needs I am sure she would prefer to be at her own home but with her physical and mental condition it just was not feasible .
