Did Compo's flat come with extended storage?

Watching Concerto For Solo Bicycle (S15 Ep 07) and noticing Compo rolling his bicycle out a door some distance away from his flat (with at least one other residence in between). Was this just done for filming logistics (can't imagine Bill Owen rolling a bike out of the tight entrance and then up steps) or is there some additional storage with this type of housing?

Probably just done for the episode, though saying that these houses are not what they appear, some of what is used for Nora's house extends over what is the Wrinkled stocking café, and you are all probably aware that the only thing on the ground floor of Nora's house is the kitchen, the lounge and the rest of the home are on two floors above

Wasn't that storage space described in another episode as a washhouse?

Those houses, with their odd over/under arrangements, must be a nightmare to insure! I've seen advice on the Holmfirth Community Facebook group that it's wisest to go to a local insurance agent. That's been after a buyer has been told that by an out-of-town agent that their newly purchased home is uninsurable.

The over/under arrangement came in useful in the 1852 flood. In at least one instance, the family in the underdwelling climbed up the chimney and were pulled out into the overdwelling. I believe I've read that another family in an overdwelling pulled up part of their floor so the neighbors in the underdwelling could climb up to safety.

A lot of houses have coal sheds some are just tiny sheds but some are huge, the house we had before this one had a huge coal shed at the side of the house, some people turned them into downstairs bathrooms or extended the kitchen.

Wasn't there a similar storage space in A Bicycle Made for Three, where the trio mended their bicycles?
Wasn't that the storage space supposedly behind Percy's (Dirk's) shop? I believe I recall Terry saying that the storage space was actually on Norridge Bottom.

Also, in series 8, "Enter The Phantom" (before Wesley became a regular) Foggy was fixing up a motorbike for Compo to impress Nora with, in a garage/workshop in a terrace of houses ...
Was that the garage on the uphill side of Hightown Lane? Last time I watched that episode, it seemed familiar, as did the doorstep that Clegg was sitting on.

I thing it is #15 Hightown Lane where they filmed that
Looking at Google Earth, the garage seems to be between #9 and #11. I've spent far too much time looking at images of that area because there was a very affordable rental available at #15 and another, equally affordable, on Beech Street, second door up from the bottom, south side of the street. Neither are suitable for aging in place, though, and immigrants to Great Britain are stunningly unwelcome, so all I can do is dream.
